Cloud service expert Zadara Hosts Webinar on Edge Computing

Offers Insights into How MSPs and Hosting Providers can Leverage Edge Computing Without the Public Cloud

Zadara, the recognized leader in edge cloud services, is once again hosting a webinar with guest speaker from leading analyst firm IDC for a webinar catered to MSPs and hosting providers. This newest webinar, titled “Living on the Edge: How MSPs and Hosting Providers Can Leverage the Edge Without the Public Cloud,” will take place on September 29 at 11am PST / 2pm EST – and will detail how MSPs and hosting providers can take advantage of edge computing to scale their business by moving to an IT “as-a-service” model.

Edge computing is being driven by the abundance of data created by a distributed workforce and the continuous growth of IoT devices. The volume, velocity and variety of this data has challenged centralized computing paradigms. A key benefit of edge platforms is bringing websites, applications, media, security and a multitude of virtual infrastructures and services closer to end devices, which public or private clouds fail to offer.

In this webinar, Dave McCarthy, IDC’s cloud & edge infrastructure services research vice president, will be joined by Steve Bohac, Zadara’s head of product marketing, to discuss how MSPs and hosting providers can deploy edge cloud workloads anywhere in the world, achieve compliance across regulated industries (like healthcare, BFSI and federal/state government agencies), and optimize cost per performance with a 100% OpEx-based, IT as-a-service business model. McCarthy will also highlight the latest research on the evolving edge computing market, including growth trends, why the edge is more important now than ever, and how this affects MSPs and hosting providers.

Webinar participants will learn how to:

  • Deploy edge cloud workloads anywhere in the world, not just within their own data centers
  • Deliver cloud services globally without the CapEx expenditures and hassle of procuring and deploying new infrastructure
  • Grow revenues without adding risk and complexity for their business or customers
  • Expand services without needing to hire technical experts or retrain sales and marketing teams

“It often makes more sense for MSPs to move intelligence to where the data is located, rather than the other way around,” noted Bohac. “But that is easier said than done – unless you have the right tools and technology in place. We’re excited to share how MSPs can scale their business, resources and billing by taking advantage of edge computing without the need for the public cloud.”
