Netskope, a leader in secure access service edge (SASE), today announced that its innovative Cloud Exchange security and telemetry sharing solution is now available as a managed service, offering organizations more ways to provision, deploy, and manage the platform. With this release, companies can leverage seamless access to Netskope telemetry, external threat intelligence, and risk score sharing across existing security investments to stop cloud threats sooner.

The company also announced a significant expansion of the solution’s Cloud Risk Exchange (CRE) module with the ability to share application risk scores and insights with key technology partners BitSight, SecurityScorecard, and ServiceNow—helping organizations obtain better visibility of the risks associated with their ecosystem of managed and unmanaged applications.

Improving the overall effectiveness and security posture of infrastructure in the cloud is critical for every organization. According to Foundry’s Cloud Computing Study 2022, nearly 70% of organizations have accelerated their cloud migration over the past year, and the proportion of organizations having most or all of their IT infrastructure in the cloud is expected to increase from 41% today to 63% in the next 18 months.

With Netskope’s new Cloud Exchange as a managed service offering, organizations can immediately leverage Cloud Exchange without having to dedicate staff to provision, deploy, and manage the platform. The cybersecurity company Truesec and Europol are joining forces to disrupt criminal businesses with the initiative “No More Ransom” – a global collaboration between law enforcement and other key players to help ransomware victims. To contribute, Truesec has developed a unique decryption tool that will help thousands of ransomware victims to recover encrypted files, without having to pay the cybercriminals.

In a joint quest against cybercrime, Europol, the Dutch National Hi-Tech Crime Unit, and selected IT security companies have joined forces to disrupt cybercriminal business models with ransomware connections. The No More Ransom initiative helps organizations retrieve encrypted data and valuable assets, without having to pay a ransom.

“For every ransom paid, cybercriminal groups grow stronger. At Truesec, we have a strong track record of helping clients recover from ransomware attacks – without having to pay a ransom. By being an active contributor to No More Ransom, we can help more victims with our technical expertise and help them minimize the damage from cyber attacks,” says Markus Lassfolk, Vice President of Truesec Incident Response.

Truesec has been appointed Associate Partner after contributing to the “No More Ransom” project with a new unique decryption tool and decryption keys for the Chaos ransomware family, which will help thousands of victims of ransomware attacks regain access to their data.

Cohesity Earns Top Score in Strategy Category and Scores Highest in Market Presence Among Leaders

Cohesity, a leader in data security and management, today announced that global market research firm Forrester has named Cohesity a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Data Resilience Solution Suites, Q4 20221.

In this report, Forrester evaluated nine providers against 40 criteria across three categories – current offering, strategy, and market presence. With its extensible Cohesity Data Cloud platform, Cohesity received the top score in the strategy category, receiving the highest possible scores in the performance, delivery model, and commercial model criteria.

Cohesity was also identified as having the largest market presence amongst Leaders in the report. Forrester evaluates market presence scores based on “each vendor’s revenue related to data resilience, number of enterprise customers, and average enterprise deal size.”

The report states that “Cohesity bridges the divide between backup and data management,” and that “Cohesity stands out in the way it integrates customer needs into planned enhancements.” In addition, the report notes, “the company has reported strong growth and notable customer retention.”

Azalea Health, a leading provider of fully-integrated cloud-based healthcare IT solutions and services, today announced Brian Kenah has joined the company as its first Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Kenah will shepherd Azalea’s engineering functions while setting the go-forward strategy and operational execution plan for the company’s software development initiatives, M&A integrations, internal support platforms, and technology roadmap.

A proven leader with nearly 25 years of experience in healthcare technology and operational leadership, Kenah brings a track record of transforming healthcare organizations to deliver proven results. He will report to Chief Executive Officer Baha Zeidan.

Prior to joining Azalea, Brian spent eight years at Sharecare in a variety of senior leadership roles, most recently serving as its Senior Vice President of Technology Operations. In this critical leadership role, he led the PMO, Tech Support Engineering and Quality Assurance teams, optimizing efficiency and establishing industry leading best practices across the organization and its affiliates. Prior to his time at Sharecare, Brian served as Director of Technology, Patient Engagement at Streamline Health and Senior Development Manager with NextGen Healthcare.
